I just wanted to take a minute to say how glad I am to have found these guys here in Lathrop. I was in the RC hobby quite a long time ago and got out due to the loss of a family member. I found these guys last summer (2007) at their Fun Fly during the Friendship festival. After getting to know them all (Gerry, Chris, Dan, Chad, Asa and others) I can honestly say I couldn't imagine feeling more welcomed than I was. If you EVER had an interest, or wanted to learn more about Radio Control airplanes, or just want to come out to watch some of us try to 'rip the wings from our planes', get a hold of Gerry or come out to the field. We will try our best to answer any questions about the hobby. What does it all cost? Is it hard to fly? What happens if you turn your plane into a full size lawn dart? I would be more than happy to spend some time with you filling you in on all the details. See you at the field!!! Tom Duffy.
